bei – new album with Christoph Berg and Henning Schmiedt for Flau Records Tokio

everything could happen, it’s this moment of purity
and silence, full of clarity, tension, expectation.

the music on bei emerged from this very moment of
silence.”

christoph and henning are both composers and musicians working and living in berlin. this is where they met, formed a duo and also where they recorded their album ‘bei’, a collection of instant compositions based on first takes that have been recorded in several improvisation sessions, intentionally opposing the habits of classical music by praising the beauty of imperfection.
